Friday and Saturday Are Now for Live Bargain Hunting at FB

Facebook is expanding its online shopping options by hosting a three-month-long event called Live Shopping Fridays. The company has partnered up with some of the major makeup and clothing brands to provide its users with a new and fun curated shopping experience.

Shoppable Live Videos From Popular Brands

Facebook has announced the launch of Live Shopping Fridays. According to a post on theFacebook Newsroom , every Friday starting from May 21 through July 16, 2021, you’ll be able to watch live videos of some of the biggest brands showcasing their products.

During those live streams, you’ll have the chance to purchase any product presented by the brand directly on the Facebook app.

Also, it will be possible to interact with the brand by asking any questions related to its products. For example, if you’ll have doubts about what lipstick shade to choose, the brand’s speaker would be able to help you with that.

Facebook has listed the brands that will be taking part in Live Shopping Fridays. That list includes Abercrombie & Fitch, Alleyoop, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Clinique, Dermalogica, Dolce Vita, Sephora, and ZOX. All of the brands are divided into three groups: Glow Up, New Fashion Finds, and Self Care Spotlight.

Facebook says that depending on the product type distributed by the brand, it should go live on one of the following dates:

Glow Up – May 21, June 11 and July 2 12:00PM – 1:30PM PT/3:00PM – 4:30PM PT
New Fashion Finds – May 28, June 18 and July 9 12:00PM – 1:30PM PT/3:00PM – 4:30PM PT
Self Care Spotlight – June 4, June 25 and July 16 12:00PM – 1:30PM PT/3:00PM – 4:30PM PT

How to Join a Live Shopping Friday Event

Live Shopping Fridays will be available through the Facebook app. You’ll be able to find the streams of the live videos either through Facebook’s Shop tab or on the Facebook page of the participating brand.

To buy a product that is being showcased by the brand, you’ll simply need to tap it and complete the checkout process. And the best thing about it is that you won’t have to leave the Facebook app.

The Live Shopping Friday events should bring benefits for both the brands hosting the live streams and the shoppers.
